MYWLT got the opportunity for a mini interview with Hardwell and along with that compiled a list with his top favourite tracks of 2014. The tracks presented below are not just Hardwell's favourites, but also shows how diverse and epic progressive house music has been again this year (so far). It is also interesting that a house classic such as Rune RK's infamous track "Calabria" has been relived in the Firebeatz remix this year, but that's the beauty of remixing :)

MYWLT did a mini interview with Hardwell asking him 3 questions about his life as a producer, DJ and winner of DJ Mag's top 100 and for the audiophile Hardwell fan, after reading this short interview you will know which headphone is his favourite.

1. What will you do if you become No. 1 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 again this year?

I'm not sure! It is really up to the fans and if they decide to vote for me. But if I did become number one again, I’m going to do something even crazier than jumping out of an airplane, which is what I did last year.

2. What do you like better: performing or producing?

I love both equally. I'm very lucky and thankful that I get to pursue my passion for a career. If I'm not on stage performing, then I'm in the studio working on producing music. Producing lets me explore my love for creating music, while performing lets me connect with my fans. They both are extremely important to me. 

3. One headphone for the rest of your life: Which would it be?
