Coffee
Got the pleasure to be introduced to these two LA based dudes, going by the names of Michael Sack and Henry Morris. Joining forces as roommates at UCSB, they've made music as Playyard and this tune here called "Coffee" is the prove that they've got something right. "Coffee" is a smooth sailing, jazzy indie pop tune, with an outstanding melancholic vibe. Still developing their sound, based on this single, I am clustering these guys as a mix of Tom Misch, Jordan Rakei, Atlas Bound, etc. Being a relatively new project, it will be interesting to follow their musical journey, with "Coffee" starting to build up the hype.
