Slow Down
If you've been reading the blog for the last year or so, you might have come across Lyrah, one of my new favourite indie artists. Just as everyone else, she has been spending a lot of time at home due to the Covid crisis, but exactly because of that the new single "Slow Down" is now seeing the light of day. In trend of the times, Lyrah co-wrote this track together with her best friend via Zoom.
The track is in essence very simply arranged and that is also what makes it so outstanding. It allows for Lyrah vocal to stand in the foreground, allowing the instrumental to take in a very peaceful position. It's a blissful autumn release and one you definitely need to check out while cozying up under a blanket. Out now as an independent release you can stream "Slow Down" via most major platforms. Enjoy!
