Special Thing
Chicago based duo Gilligan Moss recently knocked it out of the ballpark with the first single release "Slow Down" off their upcoming EP. Now they have pulled back the curtain on the entire thing together with the EP's title track "Special Thing". This single marks the perfect intro into the soundscape they've created. At its core it's a pretty simple track with a filtered looped vocal sample and chord progression, but its hypnotic nature and funky groove makes it an amazing tune to chill out to. The full EP is out now via Foreign Familar Collective and features a total of 5 tracks, including "Slow Down" and a collaboration with Swedish pop duo Rebecca & Fiona.
