Killer

The legendary german techno producer, DJ Boys Noize has once again teamed up with Miami-based singer and songwriter Steven A. Clark for a follow up to their recently released “Where Neon Goes to Die” project. Following the theme of the 80s, drum machine, heavy choruses, and danceability that “Where Neon Goes to Die” featured, this new tune “Killer” may seem extremely familiar at first; but not for the reasons you may think. “Killer” is actually a cover or contemporary re-recording of a song called “Killer” that was released in the 1990s by DJ Adamski and originally featuring the vocals of Seal. This re recordings features a modern take on the original tune, introducing what modern music technology has to offer by featuring a heavy stabbing bass line, along with a huge gated snare and banging kick. Steven A. Clark’s voice, while extremely unique, draws many parallels to the voice of Seal which made him the perfect candidate to do the vocals for this re-recording, and the execution was spot on.
