Ok, ok, today we are going to venture into the world of hip-hop and take a look at Thutmose’s new tune “OkOk” featuring world famous ad-libber Desiigner. Thutmose is a Nigerian-American rapper, singer, and songwriter based out of Brooklyn. He studied computer science Alfred College in New York for one year before deciding to dropout and pursue music full-time. This is an important track for Thutmose as the featured artist Desiigner is the most prominent feature he has had to date, an indicator that the industry is paying attention to his imminent blow up. The tune starts with an undeniably catchy, easy to remember, sing-a-long type flow layered on top of a beat that absolutely slaps produced by French producer Matevï. Thutmose absolutely pops off on the his verse, switching up his flow multiple times into complicated cadences, truly flexing his lyrical abilities. Desiigner does well to match Thutmose’s energy, bringing a head-nodding flow along with those meme-ified adlibs we all love. Overall, this tune is a certified banger and we see a bright future for Thutmose - keep an eye on him as the blow up is just right around the corner.
