IDFC

Today's first track is a brand new single release from Zimmer feat. Polina called "Heartbreak Reputation". This track has a delightful tropical vibe that only Zimmer knows who to do. Adding to that is Polina's amazing vocal. If it's not summer and warm where you are, just take a listen to this. It will cure you. "Heartbreak Reputation" is part of Zimmer's 4-track EP called Coming of Age, which is available via Itunes (link below).

Take Me Out

Rosegold teamed up with Trap Mori$$ to produce a beautiful piece of chillstep/trap by Alex Ramone called "Straight To The Head". The track has some hints of hip hop too, making it a delightful track to cruise to. The beautiful vocal is the cherry on top and makes this track go straight to my head. I'm pretty sure this will go straight to your head too :) No word on a release date yet, but stream it all you want right here below:

A Million Years

A confectioner from New York and now based in London called Neukreis, is responsible for this bass filled remix of Frida Sundemo's "A Million Years". The interplay between the sensitive vocal and the heavy pumping bassline is brilliant and really catchy too, making my head nod autonomously back and forth in appreciation. Check it out for yourself by hitting play below.

Up next is Flo Rida feat. Robin Thicke's "I Don't Like It, I Love It" in the Thomas La Salle bootleg. This happy upbeat song just got the ultimate bass treatment (even more so than the track above). This bass is so grotesque, but it makes so much sense when you hear it together with the original parts of this mainstream pop song. Turn up the volume, pick up a free download and enjoy :)

Saltwater

The 90' and the 00's was really the prime time for the trance genre, including tracks like this one: "Saltwater" by Chicane. This classic has been given an overhaul by Irish producer Reuben Keeney, bringing it back to modern times. Keeney has maintained some of those characteristic trance vibes from the original, but has enhanced the track with a dope bassline giving it a more deep and clubby vibe. This remix is out now via Future Factory as a free download, so you can enjoy this updated blast from the past by clicking the link below:

Beautiful Now

Remember Marty's amazing remix of Snbrn's "Raindrops"? Well...unfortunately the Marty project has been discontinued, but fear not, because here is the replacement: Far Out is a newly established duo consisting of Martin G (Marty) and Michael F from Calgary, Canada and below is their first ever release, a remix of Zedd feat. Jon Bellion's "Beautiful Now". This is a solid melodic progressive house track, with plenty of omph and a catchy vibe. Far Out will have more remixes coming out throughout the summer, incl. their debut single feat. Delaney Jane. This remix however, you can listen to straight away and pick up a free download via the link below. Enjoy :)

Pierce Fulton has been busy lately. First he released a new single called "In Reality", then a remix with Shirts & Skins and now he is back with another remix, this time Life Of Dillon's "Overload". I Want You

Figgy has taken the dreamy approach on his remix of ASTR's "Activate Me" and the result is awesome. The remix is airy and chill and refreshingly different from other remixes of the same track. Elephante is out with a new track and it's a powerful melodic oomph kind of a track. The track is called "I Want You" feat. Rumors. If you are familiar with Elephante's sound, you'll notice his characteristic energetic synths that dominate the chorus of the track. The vocal is also absolutely brilliant and acts as a great balance to the instrumental. "I Want You" is out now on Armada and you can pick up a copy via Itunes (link below):

Constellations

A few weeks ago the new Late Night Alumni album called "Eclipse" was released, featuring the tracks "Runaway" and "The This This", which were both previewed here on the blog. The sound on the album is very characteristic to LNA and that is primarily because of Becky's very distinct voice. One of my favourite tracks from the album, which wasn't released as a single, is "Constellations" and it's one of the more upbeat tracks on the album. The bassline and the filtering on Becky's voice work really well together. The beat is also integrated in a way so it still adds a certain level of omph, but doesn't take away the attention from the lush synths and vocal. You can pick up the entire album on Itunes or stream it via Spotify (see links below). Enjoy :)

Up next is a remix by Ukrainian DJ Yaaman. This time he has transformed the track "Running" by Donovans feat. Michael Tee. There's a lot going on in this remix. The vibe is deep and mysterious, yet also quite energetic and upbeat. One synth line in particular reminds me of a rough electric guitar, which gives the track certain rock like notes. Drop Low

Let's start the week with some proper bass! This track comes fresh out of Kaskade's label Arkade and is called "Drop Low" by Digital LAB vs. Henrix. This is an energy bundle of a track, with plenty of vibrating and delicious omph. If you witnessed Kaskade's legendary Coachella set, this was in fact the only non-Kaskade produced or remixed track he played. Up next is a track that I have been looking forward to for quite a while. This is Oliver Heldens & Shaun Frank feat. Delaney Jane's track "Shades Of Grey"(Club Mix). There's a lot to like about this track. The great bassline is bouncing along nicely to Delaney's beautiful vocal and the vibe is luscious, vibrant and positive. In my book this track candidates for best collaboration of the year! Check it out for yourself and pick up a copy via Beatport (link below):

Roses

It's been quite a journey for The Chainsmokers so far and with their latest single release they show that they've grown and developed significantly as producers as well. "Roses" is the name of the new track, which conveniently features Philadelphia based vocalist Rozes and also Drew singing backup vocals for the very first time on a track as well. This track is miles away from tracks like "Talk Is Cheap" and some of their other early work, but they still stay true to their indie vibe and it pays off. Do What You Feel

Dirty Vegas have been cooking up a new track called "Do What You Feel" and it's filled with good vibes. The heavy use of guitar on the track is great and fits well together with the great vocal. The lyrics are catchy too, so they should be easy to sing along to. It would not be a big surprise if this track would become a remixer favourite very soon. "Do What You Feel" will be featured on their upcoming album which is set to release later this year, but you will be able to pick up the track already on July 17th as a single. Enjoy :)

Up next is a new remix from Kaskade. This remix should have been released a long time ago, but as it happens, it just got released yesterday. The track in question is "Where Are U Now" by Jack Ü feat. JB and you may like him or not, the track sounds great anyway! Magic

Today's first track is called "We Drink" by James Chatburn feat. Frank Nitt. This is a mean, low and slow cruisin' soul and hip hop inspired track. U Got

U.S. based SIVIK's track "U Got" has been remixed by JackLNDN and whoop whoop that was good. The bassline is what caught my attention and combined with the deeper vocal pitch during the chorus, it sounds just perfect. The verses have a more funky feel and the contrast makes it very interesting and radio friendly. Unfortunately there's not release date for this, but you can stream it all day and night right here below:

Sometimes when stems are available to the public or just the acapella, the web floats will thousands of remixes of the same song. That can be a good thing and a bad thing. It's a good thing when remixes like this one shows up. The producer ESH has created a remix of Zedd feat. Selena Gomez's track "I Wan't You To Know" and it's remarkable. Overload

Before #Selfie, The Chainsmokers were pretty much a charity case, pushing out amazing free downloads left and right to get heard, but even with their rise to fame they still find time to throw a bone to their fans. The time the bone is shaped as a remix of Life of Dillon's track "Overload". The vibe is fresh and summer like. The subtle piano chords during the verses are simple, but effective.
