DYC or Dance Yourself Clean's vibe has always felt a bit like a modern day Hard-Fi to me...and I love it. Their single "Dance All Night" is a good example of that. Recently they've dropped a bunch of remixes, including this take by Lincoln Jesser. You might know his earlier works "Roll On", "Some Kind Of Drug" (w. G-Eazy) or his Steve Miller Band remake of "Fly Like An Eagle" called "Slippin'". His remix is a respectful interpretation of the original mix, taking things more upbeat and somehow managing to make it even more catchy, thanks in part to a contagiously groovy bass line.
