Like Fire
It's finally here! German producer Felix Hahn and Swedish/Guinean singer/songwriter Felish have joined forces on this catchy summer friendly electro bop called "Like Fire". This particular track is a special one for me, as it brings together two amazing upcoming talents that I've supported here on the blog in the past. (Pssst...and yours truly might have connected the two artists for this collab.)
Jonas Hahn has previously proven his worth with hit singles such as "Sleepless" with Canadian producer Dzeko, as well as with several releases on Strange Fruits, such as "Somebody", "Hideaway" and "Take Me Away". On "Like Fire" you can pick up his light, yet upbeat EDM/pop vibes that finds a perfect match between danceability and radio friendliness. As for Felish, she's a soulful vocalist, who finds herself at home across multiple genres. Here on the blog you might have enjoyed her collabs with BUSSAUTO (Lost Momentum and Come Back), but she has also done some incredible solo work, especially with her EP "Lylid", which dropped last year.
Back to "Like Fire"...The single is a proper love song, with a fresh, danceable melody that you can enjoy in the club, the daytime disco or even on a casual jogging run. Regardless of how you enjoy it, there is a good chance that this will become your summer earworm!
