Work It Out
Nothing like a good Friday to check out a real debut. This one comes from US based producer Rick Rubin aka Les Vegas and it's called "Work It Out", a track about relationships in not so fun times. The track has a seriously contagious bass line, which really sets the mood for the entire track. It's deep, it's housey and it makes you want to move. Despite the serious house vibes, the track does well in not taking itself too seriously. It's fun, it's quirky and it quite originally uses vocal samples both as part of the lyrics, but also the instrumental. Watching the music video, it becomes pretty obvious what I am talking about. Les Vegas also educates his audience on Youtube, with cool and informative demos of studio equipment. Highly recommendable if you are into that too. For now, enjoy and work it out!
