Pencil On A Postcard
Time for a bit of lo-fi to calm the nerves. This one comes from New Zealand based Tar Blanche and it is called "Pencil On A Postcard". Tar Blanche is the project of Charlie Ryder, who also happens to be founder and guitarist of Yumi Zouma, a popular synth pop/indie electronica band who have released hits such as "In Camera" or "Depths Pt. 1" (definitely worth checking out if you like acts like Roosevelt, Anna of the North, Miami Horror or Poolside). Back to the track in question though: "Pencil On A Postcard" is a relaxing piece of music, standing out with its elements of nu-jazz brass and cozy vinyl wow and flutter to make the track feel all warm and fuzzy. This is the fifth release from Tar Blanche this year already, so be sure to check out the back catalogue for more ambient vibes.
