Good Life (Latroit x Will Clarke Remix)
Time for a bit of feel good house music with a remix of "Good Life". To make it easier to grasp here is the backstory...the original track was made famous by Inner City in 1988, however Latroit earlier this year teamed up with Groove Terminator and Soweto Gospel Choir to remake this classic from scratch. Now this version has been given a remix by Latroit himself, together with Will Clarke, adding some extra oomph and making it ideal for the dance floors around the world. Personally I love how this one turned out, giving "Good Life" an updated oldschool house sound, with the gospel dialled up to 11 and by adding some sweet and room-filling low-end. This is in large also thanks to Will Clarke's signature sound and powerful kicks that hits this one in all the right spots.
It has been a long time since I listened to the original version by Inner City, so this turned out to be a great way to rediscover an all-time electronic music classic - and even in several ways. Out now via Music Is Fun.
