Infinite Coles serves up pure magic with his new single "BGM" (Black Girl Magic), out today on Don’t Sleep/PIAS. It’s a love letter to 90s house music, full of bright piano chords, hypnotic groove, and Coles’ soul-stirring vocals. Co-produced by Zach Witness (Erykah Badu, Frank Ocean), the track is equal parts uplifting and raw, driven by a mantra-like hook that feels tailor-made for late-night dancefloors: "Shine your light. Baby love your life. It’ll be all right this time." “BGM” is the second taste of Infinite’s forthcoming debut album, following the unapologetically titled “Boots Ballroom C*nt Mix.” Both tracks make it clear: Coles is pulling from the ballroom scene, from 90s house, from lived experience and turning it all into music that demands both dancing and listening.
