Brilliant Eyes (Jody Wisternoff Remix)
A few months ago Ryterband released the EP Undefended, a 6-track masterpiece including my favourite "Brilliant Eyes". This track has now been remixed by UK based Jody Wisternoff and he somehow managed to make something that was already 10 out of 10 burst the scale. If that wasn't enough, there isn't just one remix to dribble on, there are 2 more...an extended and alternative version. I chose to pick the vocal edit, as it brings out the best of the original and the extend remix, giving room to the Bon Iver'esque vocal and magical, atmospheric vibe. Jody Wisternoff's remix goes a tad more upbeat, but not too much, making it ideal for a casual easy listening session.
