Berliners
Beatune and Judah Moore dropped their new EP “Berliners” earlier this month, following up on their single “Essential Being” that we covered late last year. Considering the quality from the single, the anticipation for the release of this EP was at its peak. The EP has an extremely cohesive feel to it, a minimal house musical escapade that does a phenomenal job at capturing the essence of German electronic music as if it were born and raised, natured and nurtured, on the streets of Berlin. The last tune on the EP “The Berlin Beat” puts the icing on the cake and the cherry on top, a banging four-on-the-floor slightly distorted kick drum, hypnotizing hat loops and filtered claps - it would be a perfect score for a scene in a blockbuster film depicting a scene of a night out in Berlin. The beat is accompanied by some classic spoken word from an omnipotent narrator that is relentless in his desire to convey that this tune is in-fact, a Berlin beat. If you’re looking for something mysterious, raw, and authentic, look no further as Beatune and Judah Moore have got you covered on that.
