Ayeee, it is Friday and it is time to dive into the weekend head first with a brand new tune. This time I've come across this banger here called "Replacements" feat. La Roux in the MJ Cole Remix. Maybe you have already had a chance to listen to the original, which in classic Chromeo style takes you on a real electro-funk journey. This version from UK based MJ Cole takes things to another level though. With a tight and plucky groove, the track earns new features that make it more than ideal for the clubs playing dance and house music. That being said though, the track still features elements that stay true to the original, never forgetting that it is in fact a Chromeo track. Personally I am head over heels with the oldschool style house vibe and the upgraded level of energy that MJ Cole manages to bring to the table. MJ Cole's remix is out now via most major DSP's, alongside other remixes produced for Chromeo's latest EP by Tchami and Dave Lee.
