Wreck It
Time for something a bit different here on MYWLT. Today's tune comes from UK based producer Fork and Knife and Melbourne based Tigs and it is called "Wreck It". This track combines UK garage with growly bass house style that creates a deep and delighfully underground sound, far away from some of the current mainstream stuff. As a listener you are rewarded with a lot of variation in the arrangement, but it still feels incredibly coherent and not over the top in any way. Personally I like the work put into the beat and the percussion parts in particular, which gives the track a formidable groove. I am sure this track would turn a few heads if played out loud an sweaty, dark and overcrowded clubspace. Out now via Raw Tactics.
