I Wish I Didn't Miss You
Welch songwriter and producer teams up with U.S. based Caroline Byrne for a classy remake of Angie Stone legendary track "Wish I Didn't Miss You". Personally I have never been a huge fan of the remake scene, but from time to time there are versions that really take it to the next level. This one does it by merging some slick UK house elements with American R&B, perfectly produced and with just the right balance of radio friendliness and danceability. This isn't the only good piece of music these people have put out recently. You might already know Caroline Byrne from her work with LP Giobbi on "Forever And A Day" or Tudor's organic house tracks like "Home" or "One Night", but if you haven't be sure to check out their wast and incredible back catalogues on your favourite streaming service. Their joint version of "Wish I Didn't Miss You" is out now via Colombia/B1 Recordings.
