Follow The Sun

Let's start out today's post with a proper melodic deep house track. You might know "Follow The Sun" by Xavier Rudd, but this particular version uses the cover by Caroline Pennell and was then remixed by Miami based producer Alyx Ander. Caroline's vocal gives the track a sweet haunting and atmospheric vibe, while the instrumental by Alyx Ander adds a layer that's essentially a blend of acoustic, deep and emotional house music. The end result is pure bliss in my opinion! You can stream the track right here or via Spotify (see link below).

Today's second track comes from Pierce Fulton who's about to release a new 4-track EP called Borrowed Lives, set to be released on July 22. This first single is called "Make Me Blue" and combines Pierce Fulton's signature guitar house sound, with his alternative indie inside. I think he manages to find a perfect sweet spot, making both his dance music fans happy and at the same time making other people discover his music by doing that indie combo. Not only does Pierce sing on this positive and summer-like sounding tune, but he has also added his vocal to the other 3 tracks on the EP. You can pre-order the Borrowed Lives EP right now and get "Make Me Blue" instantly via Itunes or stream via Spotify (see links below). Enjoy :)
